Your journey begins with a precise, comfortable digital scan using an intraoral scanner. This replaces traditional plaster impressions entirely — no mess, no gagging. Within minutes, we have a highly accurate 3D model of your teeth, bite, and gum line that forms the foundation of your entire treatment plan.
Using Align Technology's ClinCheck® software, Dr. Siju creates a personalised virtual simulation of your treatment. You can watch your teeth move into their final positions on screen — and see your new smile before committing to a single aligner. This is one of the most popular features of Invisalign treatment.
Dr. Siju conducts a thorough clinical assessment of your teeth, bite, gums, and facial profile. This appointment confirms whether Invisalign is the right treatment for you, and allows us to discuss your goals, concerns, timeline, and investment. X-rays and clinical photographs may be taken.
Dr. Siju personally plans every single tooth movement in precise sequence and magnitude using ClinCheck® Pro. Drawing on 10,000+ cases of Invisalign experience, he fine-tunes the plan to achieve the most efficient, comfortable, and aesthetically ideal result for your specific case.
Once your treatment plan is approved, it is sent to Align Technology's manufacturing facility where your custom series of aligners is produced using medical-grade SmartTrack® material. Each aligner is precision-trimmed to the exact contours of your gums. Your full set of aligners is typically ready within 2–3 weeks.
You receive your aligners and wear each set for one to two weeks (as prescribed by Dr. Siju), 20–22 hours per day. Remove them only for eating, drinking anything other than water, brushing, and flossing. Each new set moves your teeth a tiny, controlled amount further towards the final goal.
You attend periodic check-up appointments with Dr. Siju (typically every 6–10 weeks). He assesses your teeth tracking correctly through the aligners, answers any questions, and provides you with your next batch of aligners. These appointments are usually brief — one of the many advantages of Invisalign over braces.
In some cases, after completing the initial aligner series, minor refinements may be needed to achieve the perfect final result. Dr. Siju will take a new scan, plan additional movement, and a new series of refinement aligners will be produced. Refinements are a normal and expected part of achieving perfection in complex cases.
Once your teeth have reached their ideal final positions, custom Vivera® retainers are fitted. Retainers are essential — teeth naturally have a tendency to shift back over time. Worn as prescribed (initially full-time, then night-time only), retainers preserve your beautiful new smile for life.
